Happy New Year!!!!!!
It’s 2012 and time to set new goals! When considering what you want your goals to be in the new year it’s always wise to make sure they are S.M.A.R.T.
Just to recap, my goal of 2010 was to become a personal trainer – CHECK!
And get a job at a gym as a personal trainer – CHECK!
In 2011 my goal was to start my virtual training business – CHECK!
And compete in my first bikini competition – CHECK!
So for 2012 my primary goal is to take my virtual training business to a whole new level!!
I want to spread the word for the Get In Shape Workout plan across the country. I’m setting a S.M.A.R.T. goal, but I cannot disclose the exact details. But I know I can help so many more women lose weight, workout smarter and get into the best shape of their lives!!
My second goal is to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon between 2 hours and 2 hours and 10 minutes.
That should put me between 9 and 10 minute miles. Last year it took me 2 hours and 27 minutes. I’m training to run 9 minute miles, and I’ll tell you guys more about my plan in another blog.
My third goal is to train myself for my second bikini competition. Here it is guys –
On April 14, 2012 I will compete in the WBFF Fitness Atlantic USA National Championship Series Bikini division competition!!!
I will be doing all of my own workouts and nutrition for this guys, so it’s a pretty big deal!
I may or may not go on to do another one or two in the spring as well.
My fourth goal is to compete in either a powerlifting or an olympic lifting competition.
I haven’t decided which it will be just yet. Right now I’m doing some small group training to perfect my snatch and clean and jerk. But more about that later. I also really enjoy benching, squatting and deadlifting and want to get better at those too, so we will see which I choose, but I wanna do one of those.
And my fifth goal is to be able to do a handstand push up away from the wall.. once and for all!
