Kris has been a client of mine on and off for three years. She just completed the Spring round of #Commit2Fit and these were her results.

 

How did your journey with Kyra Williams begin? (How did you find Kyra Williams Fitness? What made you decide to sign up? What package or product did you first select? What were your goals?)  

I first came across Kyra back in 2011 or 2012 when a friend of mine from the gym shared her Get in Shape Girl page.  Then my gym did a clean eating challenge and Kyra came out to talk to us about what exactly clean eating meant.  I followed the info she gave us that day and started following her on Facebook.

Following her eating advice and lifting heavier at the gym resulted in me losing almost 10 pounds as well as inches and body fat.  I was definitely in the best shape of my life.

About a year later I started to gain weight despite feeling like I was still doing things right.  I reached out to Kyra for more 1:1 help and worked with her on a customized meal plan and followed weekly workouts.  In 2014 I had surgery and was sidelined for a while.  I kept up with Kyra via her Facebook group.  In 2015 I tried, and failed, the Whole 30, when Kyra launched her 30 Day Detox I gave that a try and loved how I felt.

I finally was able to kick dairy and felt like I was getting back on track.  As my body has continued to struggle with ups and downs due to a host of reasons, I decided to join Commit to Fit in 2016 in the hopes it would help me lose fat and get in better shape before my wedding.

 

 

What was your experience like?  It’s been fantastic working with Kyra.  She has been supportive through all my ups and downs and always works with me to figure out how to tweak my program to fit my life and my needs.  Commit 2 Fit has been awesome.  I’ve loved all the personal fitness programs I have done, but this has definitely been special.  The detailed plan, the check ins, the support from Kyra and the group, the energy of the group, I could go on.  It has been a great experience.  I don’t want it to end!

What did you achieve physically, mentally, emotionally, etc and how long did it take?  I may not be at my “goal weight” but I am stronger, I am not as bloated and puffy, I am able to do push ups again (I’ve struggled since surgery over 2 years ago to regain that strength) and I know someday soon I’ll get that pull up I want to badly!  I’ve taken over a minute off my mile and my running is so much stronger.  I feel happier and more confident.

 

 

What did you overcome to achieve this?   It’s definitely been a long road!  I had a lot of injuries, 2 surgeries, a pretty lengthy recovery and a lot of medical issues.

 

 

Did you take part in another KWF service or product? If so what was that experience like? #Commit2Fit 1:1 coaching, 12Week Bikini Guide, 30 Day Detox; All were great!

 

 

What specific feature did you benefit from most from KWF’s products/ services?
I love the individualized coaching.  It’s so specific.  She knows what foods I like, what workouts I must do and what I hate, where I need encouragement, where I can be left to my own devices, it’s like she’s actually here with me

 

 

What would be three other benefits about this product/ service? I can’t really think of anything

 

 

Would you recommend this product/ service?  If so, why?  Absolutely!  As I said, the individualization of the personal fitness program and the support of the group are amazing.

 

 

Do you have any advice you would like to give someone who is trying to find their fitness journey?  Focus on the journey.  Progress not perfection.  And don’t get caught up in the comparison trap.  Everyone is walking their own path.  Focus on your journey and progress not someone else’s.
