I have been working with Kyra for almost a year and a half. I found her after I lost a great deal of weight already, but wanted to take my fitness to the next level. She changed up my workout plans these last 12 weeks with the Lean Body Workout Program and she definitely helped me improve both my performance and physique.
I love KYRA. She is a down to earth trainer. She keeps it real. She understands that not every day can you eat 100% clean eating recipes only and work out. I am a very self motivated person, and I tend to push myself too hard and then I reach a breaking point.
Kyra helped me learn that my body needs rest and to listen to my body. She did not want me to regret the gym and my daily workout plan. Its all about balance. Also I love how she keeps it real with her clients. She shares her fitness and personal problems with the group. I like that because I realized that she is still a person and even after you lose the weight you still will have problems in your life.
This has been a very long process for me. Kyra had be do the Lean Body Workout Program these last 12 weeks. And it was TOUGH! It was the hardest workout program I have ever done. It tested me physically, mentally, and emotionally, but I have seen results. I actually have abs forming.
My entire fitness journey started almost 3 years ago and I am a completely different person from when I started. When I started I ate a strict 1100 calorie diet and lost pounds easily and got on the scale everyday. Now I eat anywhere between 1800-2100 calories. I hardly ever get on the scale. These past 12 weeks I actually gained 3 pounds, but I am a pant size smaller. Also my wedding dress that I bought 4 months ago has to be taken in an entire size. All this while being 3 pounds HEAVIER. I eat more and workout smarter not longer. All this is thanks to Kyra’s amazing program and advice.
Getting to this point has been tough. Somedays I find myself thinking I HAVE to go run off that heavy calorie meal I ate or whatever. This is when I try to take a step back and evaluate myself. I stress to myself that it is impossible to cancel out calories with cardio and this could lead to me to having bigger problems down the road. Then I tell myself that I need to eat better today. Plus I hate the bloated feeling I get when I eat like crap and my workouts suffer from it. That is my motivation to clean up my diet.
Also if I am going to a family dinner and I love the appetizers. (My family are foodies and we all LOVE to cook.) I limit myself to small bites of everything instead of large servings of everything. It would be realistically impossible for me to eat nothing while there. Plus I would be miserable and STARVING. This is where I believe I have become mentally stronger because before I would restrict myself from everything and hate myself and then eat an entire ½ gallon of Blue Bell. The small treats helps me mentally sooth the craving without completely falling off of the deep end.
I started with KWF one time meal plan and workout plans then #Commit2Fit. This was perfect for me just starting out. These past 12 weeks I have been doing the Lean Body Workout Program. It was tough, but I truly enjoyed the challenge. Kyra helped me push through those past couple weeks when I was feeling tired but I refused to quit.
I enjoyed the #Commit2Fit weekly check ins and Facebook group the best. The check ins kept me accountable. It made me more conscious about what I was eating because I had to write it down. Also the ladies in the Facebook group were so motivating. We all are in different areas of our fitness journey, but we encourage each other. Plus when I see that they are pushing through their workout plans then it motivates me to push through mine.
Kyra also put me in touch with other girl’s in the program that were doing the Lean Body Workout Program. We messaged on Facebook pretty frequently. We talked about modifications that we each did and motivated each other to keep pushing through the workout routines.
Three benefits of this product are the workout plans, meal plan, and the ability to interact with Kyra. The workout routines are great and if you do them you will see results. I loved the meal plan especially how Kyra educated me on carb timing and that carbs are NOT bad. I never knew after a heavy workout session you should eat both a protein and a carb. Also I loved being able to ask Kyra anything and she is very prompt with her response.
Yes, I highly recommend KWF especially #Commit2Fit. Kyra is knowledgeable, inspiring, down to earth, and my favorite a real person. She’s straight up with her clients about her struggles not only with her fitness struggles, but her life struggles. This inspires her clients and especially me. I love her story about how she lost weight to be a bikini model and is now a CrossFit athlete. I enjoy working with her and I have seen great results with the help of her.
My advice to someone starting their personal fitness journey is that it takes time. You will not see results overnight. I personally have lost 45 pounds and it took me a year plus. Now I am maintaining my weight or gaining but losing inches and pant sizes. Do not give up if you do lose so much weight in the first month. Fitness is a journey not a destination and you have to keep working and stay consistent and you WILL see results.
I cannot reiterate how much I enjoy working with Kyra. She keeps it real. She has helped me through one of the worst times in my life last year, my mom passing away from breast cancer. She inspired me to workout in honor of her. Now I am busy planning my wedding in four months. It is because of these workout routines that I am not stressed about how I look. My wedding dress actually had to be taken in.
I am so blessed to have found Kyra Williams Fitness. It has been a life saver because I do not know if I would have keep working out on my own with everything that has been going on in my life personally. I owe so much to Kyra and I definitely will continue to follow her workout plans for the long haul.
