My personal fitness journey with Kyra began when I saw my friend Mayya at our old gym doing solid workout routines every day on her own and getting some serious results! One day, I asked her about her workout routines and she gave me the full scoop on #Commit2Fit and Kyra Williams Fitness.

 

 

I was intrigued and thought it was a very interesting concept. I did not do anything right away but after our gym closed and I was forced to get to new workout routines, I was finding that I was just not getting results really. I kept seeing Mayya looking like a stud and she put on her Instagram that there was an upcoming #Commit2Fit session.

 

 

I signed up for a Kyra Williams Fitness membership first, thinking maybe I’ll just do a baby step first. Then I texted Mayya and she told me how much I would love it and how Kyra will work with my classes that I love. I decided to take the plunge and went for #Commit2Fit.

 

 

Ultimately, I wanted to be able to work out on my own and not be so dependent on group fitness classes and feel more comfortable in my clothes. I even was hoping to be able to wear shorts again with confidence.

 

 

My experience was amazing! To begin with, Kyra gave me the tools I needed for the meal plan side of things as well as the workout routines portion. I have learned so much about how important nutrition is, something I never even thought of before, and I see how much it impacts my energy levels and my body. I also have fabulous workout routines that keeps me challenged and allow me to still get my dance moves in!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Along with all of this, the support I have received in the #Commit2Fit Facebook group has been phenomenal! I actually rarely get on regular Facebook anymore, I just go straight to this group because it’s the only good stuff on Facebook these days!

 

 

I wear shorts now on a regular basis. I also have some muscles and I can feel and see my love handles going away. I’m also not afraid of people starting at me in the gym now as I know the workout routines Kyra has given me are effective and I have the tools to make sure I am doing them right.

 

 

My self-confidence has increased so much! In the past, I have just hated taking pictures of myself and now, I can take a post-workout selfie, sans any make up, and I actually share it with people.

 

 

I feel that I have overcome a fear of not being perfect and a fear of being judged. I have been a perfectionist for most of my life, and I am a person of routine. When my routine gets changed, I used to panic. Now, I have learned that life will happen, and I may have to make adjustments to my workout routine or adjustments to my meals and at the end of the day, the world will not end. I also came to terms with the fact that people are not always trying to judge me and if they are, that’s their problem, not mine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think the most beneficial feature for me was the workout videos associated with the workouts. This was a great resource for me to continuously refer back to for proper form as well as directions on any of the workout routines, especially the ones I may not have been too familiar with.

 

 

I also enjoy the yummy recipes we all share, the great support I received from Kyra and all the support I receive from the #Commit2Fit crew!

 

 

I would recommend #Commit2Fit to anyone! It is great for anyone no matter where they are in their personal fitness journey and the flexibility means that there is no excuse for not being able to participate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My advice would be to not worry about what other people like to do or how other people have gotten results as each person is different and you need to find what is going to work the best for you and for your body.

 

 

I absolutely loved my first #Commit2Fit experience and I have grown so much as a person in these last few weeks from it! I am looking forward to more growth with future rounds!
