When it comes to what you eat, the quality does matter. Does it matter if you eat all organic? In terms of health, perhaps, but not necessarily for fat loss. But that’s not what I’m talking about here. This is about eating WHOLE, REAL, CLEAN food.

Clean food or whole foods don’t have an ingredient list. They are simply oranges, avocados, olive oil, salmon, steak, pineapple, almonds, mushrooms, potatoes, etc. Yes, there are some healthy foods that come in a box, bag or package, but the more simple the ingredient, the easier it is for our bodies to use it as fuel rather than store it as fat.
I have seen clients lose fat by eating a lot of processed healthy foods like RX bars, oatmeal, protein shakes, kale chips, nut butters, etc, but I can tell you from my own experience as well as working with clients, we tend to feel and look a lot better when most of our foods are simply chicken with sweet potato, coconut oil and some broccoli, or steak, jasmine rice and asparagus wrapped in bacon.
So before you worry about calories in and out or macronutrients, concern yourself with eating WHOLE CLEAN FOOD.
