In October 2017, I found myself 40 pounds heavier within a short period of time due to stress. I came to a crossroads with my health and had to make a decision which direction my life would take. That is when I came back to Kyra Williams because her methods were tired and true for me.

I was a member of Kyra’s program several years ago and I KNEW this is what I needed. I decided from the beginning that joining #Commit2Fit, her 12 week intensive plan, was the way I was going to accomplish my goals. Those initial goals were to simply lose weight, lose fat, gain muscle and most important be happy again.

Commit2Fit has made all the difference in my life and I am truly happy and energetic. After a year I lost all of my weight AND gained muscle, albeit slowly, and I feel like this is a lifestyle I can definitely sustain. I love every moment of my journey and I love our Facebook family with so much support and encouragement.

When I started my #Commit2Fit journey in October 2017, the first month was difficult the program just fell together for me. I was allowing myself the flexibility needed to get into a nice groove without going overboard.

I eventually did go full throttle enough that I had to pare back my goals. I allowed myself to get way too into movement and was starting to burn out. This time I learned from Kyra how to find that healthy balance of doing the daily workouts and following my clean eating meal plan. My daily stress level is now under control and I feel physically and emotionally amazing. For those who want a swift way to manage their stress, they can play 온카.

When I started to overtrain which is my mode of operation in the beginning of a lifestyle change, Kyra noticed it before I did and she taught me methods to get back to a healthy and sustainable level. She knows me better than myself. It truly is amazing that she can read a person like that. I simply followed her instruction and everything came to a happy groove again.

In #Commit2Fit, we are taught proper nutrition according to our individual needs. That includes the right balance of nutritional macros in order to keep our batteries full. Second…movement. This is where Kyra truly shines. The daily workouts are SO doable and doesn’t take half a day to accomplish. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the workouts with both strength training and cardio. The third benefit of #Commit2Fit is with the combination of a clean eating meal plan and daily workouts so you are able to truly enjoy life with a healthy body and mind. It simply comes down to that. Do the work and reap the rewards.

When you start a program you MUST give it at least a month to find a groove. You are making serious changes in your lifestyle and your brain will mess with you. When the pounds start to drop and you feel the energy kicking in…go with it. Expand on it. Make it work for you. When or if you hit a rough spot don’t fight it…let your body and mind work out the problem and before long you are back with it. Low points happen. It’s normal. This was the most weight I have ever had to lose and I decided from the beginning that THIS was MY time to shine.

Lastly, I want to say that as I turned 60 this year I can honestly say that I have never felt so alive. I never dreamed that age 60 could feel so young!!! I can fit into anything I put on AND I KNOW I look amazingly awesome because I feel it inside. Now that I have a fit body I am going to get back into running and truly see what my body can do. I can already feel a difference because I am not getting those wonky muscle or tendon tensions. My hips and glutes are now prepared to take on the pounding of the footstrikes. My lungs and heart are trying to catch up with my new cadence speed but it is gradually building. All of this is happening because of #Commit2Fit and Kyra.

Because of all of this I feel so blessed. Life is good!
