One of the greatest things about maturity is the experiences and the lessons we learn from those. Working with Angela, it’s obvious how wise she is. Despite what’s required of her schedule due to her job, she still prioritizes her health and fitness. She embodies fitness and I am proud to be her coach! Here is her story..

My journey with Kyra began in 2015. I was traveling for my job and living mostly in hotel’s and out of a suitcase. Her workout routines involved resistance bands and bodyweight workout. It was perfect for me as I did not have access to a gym or much area to work out in within the hotel rooms.

My personal fitness goals were strengthening and simply beginning to get back in shape after being a full-time student for 20 months straight, with a very heavy credit load and lots of homework. I found the plan to be appropriate for the lifestyle I was needing to live at that time. I found the accountability and the workouts being a “just right” fit to help hold me accountable and motivated me to continue and not skip the workout routines! I enjoyed everything about this first experience and learned new exercises and how to gain strength and endurance.

This initial plan facilitated increased discipline with managing my time better and to make better nutritional choices. These benefits were noticeable within a few weeks for me. Those carried over to feeling better emotionally and increased my confidence, helping me to make difficult career choices and follow through with positive life decisions. I also became more self-confident and became dedicated to a better lifestyle of fitness and not worrying about the number on the scale!

In 2018, I began a more integrated and more involved relationship with Kyra Williams Fitness, starting with her Lean Body Workout Program. After completion of that program, I was hooked! I wanted to continue and progress with my personal fitness journey, so I asked for her recommendations and together we decided to try the 12 week Commit to Fit program. I’m now completing my second round of this and loving it! I’ve gained so much muscle strength, definition, tone, nutrition knowledge, and my body has changed appearance, which was what I wanted! I’m closer to 60 years old than I am 50, and I want to age as healthy as possible. I am an occupational therapy assistant and I work with the geriatric population. I see every day the negative effects of decreased muscle, poor diet choices, poor nutrition, and sedentary lifestyles have on our bodies as we age. I want to age as healthy as I am able too, and there is some control over that process, if we want to put in the work!

The feature that I find most beneficial is the workout routines are designed for ME and address what I’m wanting to accomplish! They are appropriate and effective, as well as time appropriate for my life and work schedule.

I like that I have meal plan guidelines designed for me with lots of flexibility and choices for foods. I enjoy receiving new workout routines every week with video demonstrations available to ensure proper technique and maximum benefit as as well as making new friends through the private group that are part of the #Commit2Fit Program.

I would absolutely recommend this service and I have! Kyra is approachable, down to earth real, honest, and will always give you the information you ask for as well as information she provides that you didn’t even know you needed! She addresses the whole person, mind, body and psycho-social aspects that some deal with when addressing a fitness and nutrition lifestyle change.

If you have not been able to make positive, permanent lifestyle changes to facilitate how you feel or look on your own, or just don’t know how, but really want that change, please don’t give up – there is help, and that is Kyra and her programs and guidance! It is affordable, doable and her knowledge and programs are choices that allow for real change while still living a normal life without crazy foods, rules and time-consuming workout programs that someone with a real life could never continue with on a permanent basis!

The confidence and knowledge I have gained through my experiences with Kyra Williams Fitness has been worth every penny! I have not had to give up any foods that I cannot live without. I’ve learned to eat at appropriate times/amounts and what foods to eat together to facilitate muscle growth as well as lose body fat.

I do not go to a gym to work out, I workout at home and she adjusts my workout routines for this situation as well as for the equipment I have slowly acquired in my little basement gym. She shares our joys of successes and our sorrows when we have issues in our lives that may be shared with in the private group. No judging, no guilt trips, just good advice and knowledge provided – to be used if you are willing to accept. She’s knowledgeable, driven, compassionate, motivating, supportive and accessible – everything you need in a coach!!
