When I got the opportunity to coach someone I spent a lot of time looking up to, I was nervous but excited for the opportunity to help someone who helped me so much. Helping Lorraine with her daily workouts and clean eating meal plan was the easy part. The hard work is what happens between our ears and it’s been an honor to watch her succeed, grow and find more self love.

I met Kyra years ago when came to my yoga classes and I loved her. She was training for a bikini competition. I hired Kyra back in 2104 then got pregnant but kept following Kyra’s work and felt like she was speaking my language. So when I was ready, #Commit2Fit looked like exactly what I needed!

Kyra gave me a big fat dose of reality and as a recovering perfectionist reminded me that the beauty is in showing up and being real. She reminded me that it is about being truly happy and healthy not striving so for some unrealistic expectation that only leaves me depleted.

I have more muscle and love weight training, I am physically stronger and mentally more grateful for what my body can do. I appreciated it so much more instead of hating/judging it! It took a few weeks. I feel more emotionally accountable for how I feel and what I think!

I work on negative thinking and body shame, Kyra could see the smallest improvements and her straight talk and encouragement has been helping undo unnecessary negativity.

The daily workouts and eating guide lines have been very beneficial for me. I’ve also downloaded some guides and recipes which were great as they are packed with great info and resources.

I also really enjoyed the connection, accountability and self love I achieved through #Commit2Fit. I would recommend this program because it is real. There are all the necessary components resources, support, connection, direct feedback. Its amazing.

Just remember to be kind to yourself, know that it is the long game and these are life skills that you are developing. Be nice to your body and mind. It is about consistency and fun.
