My journey with Kyra began because I was super unhappy with the way my body looked, and the way I was feeling. At the beginning, my goal was just to look good in my wedding dress and learn a little about how to be healthier. The first package I chose was the #Commit2Fit program, because I really felt like I needed the accountability.
My experience with Kyra has been nothing short of amazing! When I was slacking, she pointed it out in a way that got my attention, but absolutely did not beat my down. When I was doing good, she told me. When I needed help finding encouragement to get my butt in the gym, she helped me find it.

Physically, I’m stronger than I ever have been. Mentally, I work on my mental every single day, but I’ve come leaps and bounds from where I started. I’m able to figure out what exactly is the cause of certain feelings, I’m able to push past mental barriers that I used to let win (like not wanting to go to the gym or having gym-intimidation).
Emotionally, I still have my not so great days, but finally fueling my body right, and using the gym as a stress reliever (instead of looking at it as another chore), my emotions are way more in check.
I’ve done three rounds of #Commit2Fit, and I’m STILL working on all of these things, once I feel I’ve overcome something, I find something else that I want to work on for myself. It’s a constant work in progress, but I really don’t think I could have come this far without Kyra.

However, to achieve all this, I had to get over myself.
Oh, don’t want to go to the gym? Suck it up, your stressed and it will help.
Oh, don’t want to follow your clean eating meal plan and would rather have pizza? You just had your cheat meal, all that will do is make you feel awful physically.
Oh hey, you just ate horribly this week, wanna keep going? No thanks, I really don’t enjoy this feeling anymore. All of my gains came from the mental side of it, I really had to look at myself and figure out what I wanted, and realize that I wasn’t going to get anywhere if I kept skipping out on my daily workouts and eating out.
Also, having the daily workouts is helpful because without them I would be lost in the gym and definitely would not be building the muscle that I am. I also appreciate that Kyra is accessible almost 24/7 (it seems) and that I’ve learned so much by doing this program.

I think the big thing that pushed me was the wonderful group of ladies that also participate in #Commit2Fit. I see their posts everyday about the work outs they did, about what they may be eating, and also the struggles they go through during this health journey. Whether it’s offering advice, or letting you know that they also struggle to get in their daily workouts some days, you know you have an awesome support system through them.
I would absolutely recommend women joining #Commit2Fit! This program truly is fit to YOUR life. You learn so much, from Kyra and the group. Kyra really listens to your wants and needs, and what you are able to do when it comes to doing your daily workouts. She makes your plan custom to YOU. This isn’t some kind of quick fix, this is truly a sustainable way of life.
If you don’t know where to start, find a coach. Ask them questions to make sure they’re the right fit for you, ask around about them. Make sure whatever you decide to do is sustainable and fits your life so you really feel like you aren’t missing out on life.
