It’s been my great pleasure to work with Liz over the last 12 weeks. She reached out to me as she was on the fence about starting #Commit2Fit. She needed help getting on a regular workout program and clean eating meal plan, but felt hesitant to give a stranger from the internet her money and emotional vulnerability. I assured her I would do everything I could to ensure she never regret her decision. This is her story..

I somehow stumbled upon Kyra Williams on Instagram and started following her a few years ago. The past few years have been incredibly stressful and my life has taken some ups and downs which caused me to gain weight and not take care of myself.

Earlier this summer I started looking into getting support with a coach and looked back into Kyra. I finally jumped into her #Commit2Fit group when I saw her advertising it on Instagram. I reached out asked questions and she got back to me right away with answers and was so helpful. I jumped into her #Commit2Fit group and my goal was to start losing fat and get back into the gym. Which I have finally done! 

My experience has been nothing but positive. I appreciate the group Facebook page so much more than I thought. I love the weekly check ins because it keeps me accountable and I can see week by week how I am progressing. Kyra is always helpful with questions I ask and is so encouraging and positive. After my 12 weeks are over I definitely want to continue to crush even more goals in the new year. 

I definitely have lost 1 pant size. I fit into my clothes better. I stopped obsessing over the scale and started focusing on how my body feels. I feel stronger, more mentally clear. I don’t feel as emotionally overwhelmed. I also love how with Kyra’s guidance I am not overdoing my daily workouts and killing myself with cardio. That itself has helped me feel more positive and excited with my exercise and nutrition goals. I am definitely slowly reaching my goals day by day because I am making lifestyle changes not just a quick fix. I started seeing changes in my mental clarity within 2 weeks and physical changes within a month. It continues to improve every week! 

 I have spent most of my life hating myself and not feeling worthy enough or good enough to be fit and healthy. It definitely was at one of its worst right before I reached out to Kyra. With her positive posts, check-in’s, beautiful team of women in the group I suddenly felt less alone. I felt like this time it might be different, and I was right. I am not perfect. I still have my negative days, but I am more positive and self loving than ever before. I don’t just lift weights and eat nutritionally dense meals for the looks, I do it for overall well-being and to nourish the body that allows me to do all the wonderful things life has to offer. So I am overcoming that self hate and turning it into self love one day at a time. 

Kyra is highly trained and well versed in her knowledge and skill set. She is committed to her clients and gives honest, specific feedback that is tailored for her clients. She educates her clients to not just do the hard work short term to get the results, but how to incorporate daily habits, routines and create a realistic lifestyle that can be long lasting. The daily emails, the meal plan and having email access to Kyra anytime is also very helpful.

If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to STOP JUDGING YOURSELF! It is exhausting, draining and downright wasteful to judge yourself for not being where you expect. It’s truly okay. Instead, take a breath and give yourself grace. You are human and you are worthy of stepping into your best self. Just start by emailing Kyra. Then follow the directions. Simple as that. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be 100% everyday or every week. Just slowly but surely make simple better decisions.

You just have to put one foot in front of another and you can make life altering change! You can do this for yourself, not just for that bikini but for that beautiful soul inside you that deserves to shine in a physically and mentally healthy place.
