Open Face Tuna Melt
Stuff your face with this healthy open face version of a tuna melt,one of Kyra Williams Fitness’ clean eating recipes!
Ingredients:
2.6 oz can tuna
1 slice Ezekiel bread
1/2 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup 2% shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 slice tomato
3 Tbs lemon juice
2 T chopped onion
2 T capers, rinsed
2 Tbs red chili flakes
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients except tomato, cheese and bread.
Spread mixture onto slice of toasted Ezekiel bread then place tomato on top. Sprinkle cheese over tomato and bread.
Place sandwich on baking sheet and broil until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
