Slow cooker Jambalaya
I love me some SEC football and some SEC food. Here’s a super healthy jambalaya, one of Kyra Williams Fitness’ clean eating recipes, you can impress your friends with. They don’t need to know how easy it was.
Clean eating, gluten free, dairy and lactose free
Ingredients:
4oz plain chicken breast, cooked any way you like
12 medium size cooked, frozen shrimp
4 Applegate Farms organic Andouille sausage links
3 cups low sodium chicken stock
3/4 cup minute rice
2 1/2 T paprika
2 T olive oil
2 T minced garlic
2 T salt
2 T garlic powder
1 T black pepper
1 T onion powder
1 T cayenne pepper
1 T dried oregano
1 T thyme
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot pepper sauce
3 bay leaves
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
