BLT Salad
Clean eating, paleo, primal, gluten free, grain free, low carb, dairy and lactose free
This BLT salad, one of Kyra Williams Fitness’ clean eating recipes, is so perfect if you have leftover chicken and a few ingredients lying around the house, unsure of what you are going to eat. Make some bacon and throw all of this into a bowl together. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure that is how I created this recipe. Low carbs, high fat, this is a good meal or snack NOT before or after training.
Ingredients:
4 oz cooked chicken breast
1 – 2 cups shredded romaine (or greens of your choice)
1/2 cup tomato, diced
2 slices bacon, cooked
1/2 avocado
Directions:
Shred chicken into small, bite size pieces. Do the same with the bacon, tomato and avocado. Throw all into a bowl and if you want to add some balsamic vinegar or hot sauce you can, it really won’t throw off the macros.
