Box Jumps

You can do these with a plyometric box or on your steps at home. Begin a few inches in front of your step or box, load up your hamstrings and jump slightly forward and upward onto the top of the box or step. Land heel to toe with bent hips and knees, then come to full stand before either hopping or stepping back down.

Box jumps are part of Kyra Williams’ Personal Fitness Program and workout routines as they are a great exercise to increase your explosiveness and increase your heart rate.
