Double Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies

 

Good luck practicing moderation with this gluten free, grain free, keto, vegetarian, low carb, clean eating recipe for cookies.

 

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted almond butter, stirred well
1 large egg
3 T raw cacao powder
2 tsp stevia
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3 ounces 90% dark cocoa, broken into small pieces

 

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a medium bowl, stir together first six ingredients until blended.  Stir in chocolate “chips.”  Drop dough by rounded tablespoon-fulls onto sprayed baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.  Let cool on baking sheet for five minutes.  Removed to a wire rack and let cool for 15 more minutes.
