Goat Cheese Bison Burgers with Portabella Mushroom Buns

Craving some kind of hearty, nourishing meal? These Goat Cheese Bison Burgers with Portabella Mushroom Buns, one of Kyra Williams Fitness’ clean eating recipes, won’t fail.. and they won’t make you ruin your hard work either.
Ingredients:
1 package (16 ounces) ground bison
8 portabella mushroom caps (typically 3 ounces each)
2 oz herbed goat cheese
4 T diced onion
4 T Bragg’s Amino Acid
2 T minced garlic
2 T olive oil
spray olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except mushroom caps into 8 patties. Fry on pan over medium-high heat, broil or grill. Cook to your desire, and just like red meat, it can be pink in the center. As the burgers cook either grill the mushrooms on the top rack, warming them or frying them on a frying pan on low with cooking spray on low – medium heat for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
