At first glance you look at my client, and good friend Susie and see a thin, healthy girl.  Of course Susie was already in good shape, but after years of going back and forth she decided to really take her health and her body into her own hands and truly get FIT!

 

From when I started my workout plans I had times of greatness and progress, then I would revert back to my old ways and as result would have to start a square one ~AGAIN!

 

I look back and think if I would’ve just stayed the course and not gone off the deep end so many times – where I could be NOW!

October 2011: 110
Today: 113.8

My goals are not to compete… or look like a model.. they are simply to feel good in my own skin… I feel I’m finally getting there.

 

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well I have to say – you cannott see all of my progress from these photos! Let me explain:

 

You can’t see all of the definition I have when I move. Like the definition in my calves & my thighs when I walk. My back looks so strong, and my arms…. now when I raise my arm there is no ‘fluff’ the little under arm jiggle/wiggle is gone – NOW there is a line where my bicep now resides. (-:

You can’t see the reduction of cellulite I have. It used to be form the knees up, and my ass was just – bleh! haha, now I just have a couple of dimples. I’ve had cellulite since I was 15… it has always been so embarrassing to me, so getting rid of 90% of it…that is a HUGE accomplishment for me! (-:

 

You cant see that I am stronger. I upped my weight across the board. I am no longer intimidated to pick up the heavier weight first. Even if I get just 2-3 good reps with a higher weight – I got for it. I tear it up like an animal now, it feels amazing!

 

I picked up a weight I used to lift the other day… it felt like I picked up a piece of paper! I could’ve swung that thing around all day and never felt it. I can hardly believe I used to use that weight!

 

You cant see how my clothes fit me. At 114 I am wearing jeans I wore when I was 108 – that seems crazy right! How can 114 fit into jeans that I could only fit in at 108… *AND* I look better in them than I did at 108! That proves that a number on the scale totally does NOT tell the whole story!

 

The last thing you cant see in these photos – is perhaps the best of all….
My friends and family ask me for help and advice. My hubby, my mom and two of my best friends are now all on a workout program and have changed their diets to include more clean eating recipes & be healthy! That is the BEST feeling of all!

Its different when people compliment you, say you look great, etc. – but when they come to you for advice, recipes, guidance, help – for me, THATS where its AT! It makes me feel SO good to help and to I know I must be doing something RIGHT if people are looking to me for that advice. (-: Couldn’t be happier!

 

I still have progress to make, I am in no way ‘perfect’  – I am not 100% happy with my lower body, I have goals to get leaner and firm up my booty. I have goals for myself – it takes time, I know it will be frustrating and will seem like its taking forever, but I also know it will be worth it in the end!

I know I put in the work, sweat and time – but you were there the entire time pushing, inspiring, motivating me and kicking my ass! (hugs) you are the best and I let everyone know you are!

 

P.S. The yellow bikini doesnt fit anymore – it is sooo baggy and falls off! YAY!
