Over the last six months I have had the pleasure of working with Kristin. She has gotten incredible results, not just in her physical appearance, but in her performance and ultimately in her confidence. It all comes down to one thing – she’s coachable. If she has struggled, she communicates with me and we find a solution to work through her battles. She’s been willing to try and ultimately that evolves into success. Here is her story…

I began with Kyra Williams Fitness after watching my friend work with Kyra for about a year. I knew that I wanted structure to my daily workouts and to not have to worry about trying to figure out what to do at the gym each day and relying on what little I knew or could find on the internet. I began with the basic membership, but it was not long after that I started the Lean Body Program and shortly after began #Commit2Fit.

Working with Kyra was just what I needed and it felt good to know that I was building muscle and improving my health which were the two things that I was looking for. I loved having a meal plan because it gave me direction but was flexible enough for me to not feel like it was a diet.

I needed the accountability of someone that I knew would hold me to it. I have loved having the Facebook support group where we can be comfortable talking about just about anything and cheering each other on. I have also loved the flexibility and the capability of being able to do my daily workouts from home with the minimal equipment that I have had during the time where the gym has been closed/less accessible.

Physically I started seeing changes right away! There were changes in my pictures after the first 4 weeks. My clothes had already started to fit differently too. Mentally, I shifted back into the “working out is part of who I am” mindset and I was thankful for that shift. It reminded me how much I love to workout and how good it feels when I am done. Emotionally I began to have more confidence, which has always been a struggle for me and I continue to work on this every single day.

The biggest hurdle I had to overcome was myself. I had to get out of my own way, because I was what was holding me back. Knowing that there was someone in my corner who was new to my life and who was in my corner for that very purpose helped to drive me. Knowing that I would be asked how are things going, have you been going to the gym, eating like you should be and most of all, sending in those darn pictures, LOL! Becoming comfortable enough to take and send/post pictures of myself was huge. Though it’s still not super comfortable for me, I’ve learned to trust and not be so worried about it.

I really enjoyed the weekly emails of daily workout plans and the accompanying videos, simply because those literally impact every single day of my life!

I also found a lot of benefit in the accountability and support, the variation in the daily workouts as they keep me from having burnout at the gym, and the clean eating meal plan as well.

I would absolutely recommend Kyra to everyone. There’s a program that will fit anyone’s budget and fitness level as well as fitness goals. Kyra takes time to understand who you are, what motivates you, where you are on your journey and where you want to go.

Then, the plans begin from there.

There is accountability, a wealth of knowledge and support, support, support!! Kyra is here to motivate you as much as you will allow her to. I have seen changes not only in my physical appearance, but my physical abilities as well. I can do things now that I couldn’t before: hello – box jumps anybody?!? I am seeing more toning and definition beginning to take form and I cannot wait to continue to watch my body change. It’s not about weight, it’s about change.

Don’t be scared! Jump in and take charge of your life because no one can do it for you. No one else will benefit from it like you do, and fitness is about a lot more than just the physical. Be coachable and willing to accept advice and constructive criticism and Kyra will offer both of those and so much more but you have to take the first step.

The first step is the hardest, but it’s the one you will regret the least. Fitness is a journey, it’s not a destination. We are never done taking care of our bodies and sometimes the scenery changes but it is still an everyday adventure.

Thank you Kyra. Thank you for pushing me and encouraging me to do things that I didn’t think I could do. For adapting and changing as needed to make continued progress possible even when going to the gym wasn’t possible. Thank you for being willing to work with me and take a chance on me. I cannot wait to see what accomplishments are ahead!
