I started working with Kyra by having a monthly membership for the daily workouts and eventually purchased a clean eating meal plan. I joined for the accountability. I wanted to tone up and enhance on my already built foundation.
After a few months I joined her 1:1 program #Commit2Fit. It is an incredible group of women who come from all different walks of life and utilize experiences to help others. I have not met a single one of them in person but talk with them more than my regular friends. I feel like this group has helped deal with what was going on with the pandemic as well.
When I started prep for another few half marathons Kyra helped me come up with a plan as far as balancing lifting and getting my runs in She has also helped me finally become comfortable with proper deadlift form.
But most of all, it was mental changes. I used to try and control every aspect of how I ate and wanted someone to tell me exactly what to eat all of the time. Kyra helped me learn how to eat on my own essentially. I am less obsessive about my food then I had been in the past. She helped me recognize how I felt when I ate food I.e feeling icky or bloated. She helped me get truly in tune with my body and know how to listen to it. To do this I had to break old habits and be open to change.

The weekly workouts and meal plan have both been really great. I also enjoy the discussion in the #Commit2Fit group. We have different topics of the week that go way deeper than just physical body.
I think the three best aspects of #Commit2Fit are the accountability, the quality of the info (backed by research) and the community. Kyra provides much more than just fitness and nutrition advice. I am so happy I found this community and truly love what has been built!
