As a coach it’s hard to watch people struggle on their personal fitness journey because I just want to coach them and keep them motivated, but if they’re not ready to be helped, I have to sit back and wait. After a conversation or two, we realized Sam was ready to take the step and hire a coach and since then, she’s made so much mental and physical progress. Here is her story..

I found Kyra because I followed a #Commit2Fit member on Instagram and kept seeing her progress from the program over the years. I first signed up for the weekly workouts and basic membership then through talking to Kyra I found #Commit2Fit for more coaching, and signed up with that. 

My goal was simply to lose weight. I have a 5 and 2 year old and have lots of baby weight from the last 5 years. Now that I am done having kids I was ready to get my body back.

So far #Commit2Fit has been really really amazing. I have reached personal goals, I feel so good about myself. I feel very committed to this program. I’ve never worked with weights so this was all new but it was very easy with the videos online.

Over the last 12 weeks I’ve lost 22 pounds, I’ve gained muscles where I have never seen muscles (arms) and regained muscles in places that I’d lost them (thighs). I’m also able to almost do a full pushup, I am soooo close! I’ve never been able to do one.

I have learned to shift the way I cope with stress from food to exercise. I used to immediately turn to binge eating when something happened that stressed me out. I now look forward to my daily workout time on stressful days

I also I feel so much more life myself. I feel like I am getting back to confident, fun, energetic Sam. I have overcome my self doubt. I have started and stopped healthy eating/working out many many times over the last 5 years. I always doubt myself and how long I will stay committed to something.

The daily workouts (with the videos) obviously did a lot of the transformation. But the thing that kept me motivated was definitely the check ins. They motivated me to stay on course, and they also helped me look back at my week to evaluate it.

I 100% would recommend #Commit2Fit. I’ve found more success in the last 12 weeks than I have in the last 5 years.

It is so much easier to do a personal fitness journey with support. Having a coach to guide you and to answer any questions was instrumental in my success. Having others go through the journey with you is also a great asset; ie our Facebook group.

I’m very happy with this program! I’ve never done anything like this before and I have been very impressed!
