Sausage, Peppers and Onions Over Turnips and Parsnips

This Sausage, Peppers and Onions Over Turnips and Parsnips, one of Kyra Williams Fitness’ clean eating recipes, is such a quick dish to make. Your whole family will love it too.

 

Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork sausage, I prefer hot Italian
1 red pepper, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 turnip, cut into cubes
1 parsnip, cut into cubes

 

 

Directions:
Add turnip and parsnip cubes to filled just so it almost covers the cubes over vegetables, and boil until they are tender.
While those are cooking, place sausage, peppers and onions in frying pan and fry until pork is cooked through and peppers and onions are tender.
When the turnip and parsnip cubes are tender, remove all of the water and mash.
Make a bed with the turnip and parsnip on your plate and add the sausage and peppers on top.
