I found Kyra Williams Fitness on Facebook, under someones like.  I looked into it because I thought it was interesting, and low and behold I was hooked.

The first thing I bought was her bikini cookbook, then the tailgate cookbook and now I have all three.  Then I signed up for the monthly online personal training, and then I bought the bikini 12 week workout guide.  I loved that and I really, really wanted to do the full #Commit2Fit online personal training program.

My husband bought me equipment for home for me for mothers day – my request, and then more for my birthday. It is easier for me to do at home workouts.

My experience was like gee whiz this is kind of hard, but I said I can do it just modify like the past and keep going.  Eventually I could tell my legs were getting stronger which was exciting. Eventually I got into a sporty bikini, I was feeling sexier, more energized, happier and life just felt better.

I really didn’t want to take my 1 month picture but I did and I was like WHAAATTTTT????? I showed my husband and he was like what …thats a month?  I was like yeah WOW.

I started over a year and half ago.  I never played sports and I never worked out.  So becoming this active person was something I had a lot to learn about.   I married at my heaviest and felt so blah.  I was getting into sizes I was not used to and definitely not happy about as I was always a small slim girl until my early twenties when weight started coming on. So I overcame the mental issue of yes I can do this – get your butt going and do this already.

I enjoyed experiencing muscle growth and being stronger and getting more fit.  I learned about About Time protein, which I love the pancakes. And I learned about protein and eating carbs around workouts rather that whenever.

My advice for others is to eat clean eating recipes when you can and learn about your food.  Calories in vs calories out makes a difference on where you are at at your fitness level.  Just start with what you can modify and just keep going, rest when you need to rest,  then when you get the strength get back to it and find things that motivate you.

Kyra has helped me so many ways.  I tell my friends when they ask what I do, “I bought this …. she is on facebook…. I do it at home.”

Kyra
