When it comes to something you want or need to do, don’t talk about it. Be about it.

In my experience, if there’s something that you don’t really want to do, you need to do it TODAY. 

When we say we will do things tomorrow or another day, we don’t really intend to do them or don’t want to do them and they become these big daunting tasks that loom over us and cause anxiety and become bigger than they really are.

When we say, “I’ll join the gym next week,” we should just go online and join the gym right in that moment, get the bag packed and go that afternoon. Even if it’s just to do 20 minutes on a treadmill or to take a quick tour. Walking through the door is the hardest part so make it easy for yourself after.

Or when we say “I really need to make a meal plan for next week,” but it’s Thursday, what on earth do you plan to eat between now and Monday? You need to make a plan for the rest of the day until Monday too. 

Whatever it is you are putting off, you need to do it right now because otherwise you probably just won’t do it. If you do it now, it will make the task seem way smaller going forward. 

Don’t talk about it. BE about it.
