Here are three things that can help you alleviate the impacts of stress on your body. If you want to feel good, look good and keep working toward your goals, no matter how stressed you are, you can still have what you want.
I’m currently in a super stressful period of my life and I want to use it to teach a few things. You can also help yourself to relax by using the banana runtz strain extracts. You may read my review here indacloud if you’re planning to try various cannabis products to alleviate your stress.
First, just because you’re stressed doesn’t mean you should stop working out.
But it may mean you need to simplify your daily workouts.
You could…
- do fewer days a week or shorten the time doing the workouts
- hire a coach to write your workouts for you so you don’t need to think (what I am doing)
- go to a class (this helps bc you have an appt, they’re only an hour at most, and you don’t need to think)
- go for a walk to clear your mind and you don’t need to gear up for them
Stopping your workouts all together is just going to make you feel terrible. Exercise decreases the mental load of stress and will help you feel better. Don’t stop, make them approachable. Hire me to write the workouts for you so you don’t have to think. You can even do them at home on my program.
Second, you are gonna have to eat anyway, you may as well choose healthy food.
When you have a great deal of mental stress it impacts your gut. This impacts your sleep, your immune function, thyroid function, etc. You CAN gain weight just from stress.
If you eat junky processed foods, that also impairs your gut health so you are hitting yourself with a double whammy. When you’re stressed it’s even more important to nourish your body and gut (and body) with healthy foods. Meats, vegetables, fruits.. this is what we want to go with during this time without exception.
Lastly, you are the stories you tell yourself.
If you say things like “I’m so stressed, I don’t have time and I’m unhappy,” you’re going to be stressed, not have time and feel unhappy.
Instead, try accepting the stressor for what it is, knowing it’s going to be there for a while and you’re going to have to live with it. Then change your story.
For example, I’ve been saying “I’m so stressed out, I hate chemistry and I never have time for anything anymore,” and that’s been the case for the last three weeks. And it sucks.
So I’m changing my tune. I’m good at chemistry, I’m strategic with my time and I’m doing a great job as a student and a business owner. Let’s see what happens as I make this my new motto!
Hopefully these tips help you alleviate the impacts of stress on your body. But remember, I can write your workouts, write a meal plan for you and take some of the burden off your shoulders.
