My client Jesica first began with a membership for $7 a month to KyraWilliamsFitness. She shortly thereafter purchased a meal plan from me to help her get more results. Soon after that she started really focusing on lifting heavy which is truly got her body to change and start getting leaner. If I had to say there was one thing Jesica did to get results, it was when she started really pushing herself physically. Here is her story..
I started following Kyra on Facebook when another friend of mine recommended her page to me. I followed the page for about 6 months before I decided to sign up for the membership. At that point, I had been doing workout routines on my own for about two years and was ready to get some help to take things to the next level. I wanted help honing in my nutrition and to start lifting to build muscle and have visible definition.
One of the first things I noticed after getting my meal plan and membership started with Kyra was how much food I needed to eat! It was really difficult to get out of the mindset that I would gain weight if I ate so much.
I really enjoyed the workout routines included in the membership, they were tough be not impossible. And knowing that I had workout routines already programmed for me gave me added motivation because I knew I didn’t have any excuse to not go to the gym when everything was already laid out for me.
The biggest achievement for me has been my relationship with food. I was so used to either being super strict with calorie restriction or being stuck in a cycle of bingeing and feeling guilty. Changing this has been a major mentality shift and I am still working on it.
Kyra set me up with a meal plan to lose weight and at first it seemed like a lot of food. I was afraid I would gain weight, but I tried it and realized that I actually had so much more energy and felt so much better, just by eating more! Now I notice a shift in my mood and energy when I don’t eat enough.
I am still working on not feeling guilty for having treats but the more I stick with my meal plan on a day-to-day basis, the more these guilty feelings have slowly diminished when I do treat myself.
It took overcoming years of negative relationships with food and obsessions with being skinny through calorie restriction. That idea is so much a part of society and came so naturally that it was, and still is, a very difficult mentality to overcome.
When Kyra announced the Lean Body Workout Program, I knew that was something I wanted to try. It sounded like a great challenge to get me lifting heavier and really working toward my goal of leaning up. The Lean Body Workout Program is tough! But it’s tough in a great way that makes you want to work harder and push yourself to achieve a little more each time.
It initially took me a few weeks to really get comfortable with pushing myself as hard as I could but the way the workout routines are designed to get a little bit tougher each week definitely helped build that self confidence I needed to really go for it! And once I did, once I started pushing my own boundaries, that’s when I started seeing amazing results. I could see muscle definition and could feel myself getting stronger!
The daily check ins with Kyra in the members’ only Facebook group and camaraderie with the other people doing the Lean Body Workout Program was the most beneficial part of the whole program. Having a support system of people to help me stay accountable and motivated was absolutely invaluable and gave me a real sense of community. I didn’t feel like I was out there on my own trying to tackle this program because I knew there were other people I could turn to who were doing those same workouts as well.
I think one of the other primary benefit of the Lean Body Workout Program is the self confidence you build during the program. The program builds on itself so it gets a little bit more challenging each week, so you slowly become more comfortable with the workout routines, the weights, and with your own abilities. Every time you complete a week or the workout routines change, you can’t help but feel proud of yourself!
I would absolutely recommend the Lean Body Workout Program! This program is an incredible way to build muscle and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish through this program. I think this program is great for anyone looking for a challenge, something new to change up their routine, or who just wants to build confidence around the weights section of the gym.
The biggest advice I would give someone is to stick with it and be patient. Don’t give up on yourself. Find workouts you enjoy, push yourself, try new things, but be patient and keep going. Also, lift heavy!
