Cran Apple Oats
The warming winter spices make this the most delicious breakfast oatmeal. Just serve with a side of scrambled eggs and you've got yourself a meal!
Ingredients
- 80 mL unsweetened coconut milk
- 35 g gluten free quick cooking oats
- 60 g diced apple
- 40 g cranberries
- 15 g maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp clove
- dash sea salt
Instructions
- In a pot, bring 80mL coconut milk and 80mL water, apples and cranberries to a boil. This is 1/3c of each. (I pre-chop my apple and freeze along with cranberries.)
- Add oats and bring to simmer, stirring often.
- Add spices and maple at the end and mix together.

Fat – 4g
When it comes to salt, invest in some really good salt like this. The taste is incredible.
