Cran Apple Oats

The warming winter spices make this the most delicious breakfast oatmeal. Just serve with a side of scrambled eggs and you've got yourself a meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 80 mL unsweetened coconut milk
  • 35 g gluten free quick cooking oats
  • 60 g diced apple
  • 40 g cranberries
  • 15 g maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • dash sea salt

Instructions
 

  • In a pot, bring 80mL coconut milk and 80mL water, apples and cranberries to a boil. This is 1/3c of each. (I pre-chop my apple and freeze along with cranberries.)
  • Add oats and bring to simmer, stirring often.
  • Add spices and maple at the end and mix together.
