Today’s blog is a success story from my client Laurie. She kept saying that she wanted to be toned. She may have said she wanted to know how to lose weight fast, but knowing what I know, I knew for her that actually meant she wanted to build muscle. As a very dedicated marathon runner, it was imperative that we get her lifting weights and eating more protein. Here is her story…
When I made the decision to invest in myself with the Kyra Williams Fitness online personal training, it was after signing up with Kyra twice before in the past few years. Those experiences were awesome and I ultimately reached my goals with tons of toning and lower body fat. I also found myself burned out and reverting back to my old habits. In retrospect, I felt that the fault obviously was mine as my goals were not in line with what I was truly looking for.
Three months ago when Kyra made a great offer with joining online personal fitness training, I made the big decision that I was going to reach out for Kyra’s help once again. It felt right and I sat down with myself to figure out what had been missing in my past working with Kyra.
What hit me all of a sudden was that my time goals were completely off. I was looking short term and not for the long haul. I decided that this time around there was no grandiose occasion that I was working for. I am applying the online training lessons to my everyday lifestyle and one that I can sustain.
The result of the last 12 weeks is very striking! Was I perfect? Heck no and in fact there were times that I thought I was doomed to my old ways. Kyra taught me to be patient with myself and to simply forgive myself for falling off the wagon. Those are the realities of life. I went into a deep funk after returning home from a wonderful trip and for the first time that I can remember I was able to emerge and hit my nutrition and fitness goals once again. THIS IS HUGE!
When you start online personal training, Kyra gives you a very personalized meal plan to lose weight that is yours. It is very easy to follow and you are never hungry nor do you have any cravings. The workouts are amazing and only take 45-ish minutes to do and not hours on end to complete. The daily workout plan is very effective and changes are noticed quickly which adds to your motivation.
I lost about 5 pounds with twelve weeks of online personal fitness training which is spot on with what I was hoping for. I felt that it was the increased metabolism I gained through the program that did it burned through the fat. I have also lost inches because my clothes fit so well. My running has also been strengthened and my stamina has increased considerably.
Perhaps the biggest thing I gained from my experience is happiness with ME! Kyra is amazing and so down to earth. I truly looked forward to our phone calls and her ability to bring the small things to light. She is the best cheerleader one could ever ask for.
I am ready to move on to the next step with Kyra and still deciding what direction that will be. No matter what that is I am now more mentally and physically ready to continue on with our Kyra! I can’t imagine it any other way.
