Ingredients

  • 16 oz 98/2 ground turkey breast
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T plain full fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • .5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 T dried parsley
  • .5 tsp salt plus more to taste
  • .5 tsp black pepper plus more to taste
  • Avocado oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together and form into two patties about a half inch thick. Add another pinch of salt and peppers onto each side of the patties.
  • Heat a cast iron (or other) pan with avocado oil over medium high heat.
  • Make a slight dent in the center of each patty with your thumb—this keeps them from puffing up.
  • Place a cast-iron or non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook for about 5 – 6 minutes each side, flipping once. Ensure internal temp is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the burgers rest for 3–5 minutes before serving to keep the juices inside.
